Stablecoins are a type of digital asset that maintains a stable price pegged to another traditional asset, such as the US dollar *.*

Most of these assets are pegged to the US dollar, as it is the most widely used fiat currency in traditional international markets.

**At Ripio you can receive or send:**

- USD Coin (USDC)
- USD Tether (USDT)

Each of these cryptocurrencies operates on a different network. 1. Select  **Deposit **from the main menu.
2. Click on the cryptocurrency you want to receive and choose the option to deposit funds.
3. Select the network through which you want to receive the cryptocurrency.
4. You'll receive a QR code and an alphanumeric address to receive the crypto. Share the code or address with whoever needs to send it to you.
5. When you receive crypto, your balance will initially be unavailable. It will be displayed in parentheses until it has the necessary network confirmations. Once the transaction has been confirmed, the balance will be available for use and will be displayed without parentheses. 1. Select  **Withdrawal**** **from the main menu.
2. Click inside the crypto you want to send.
3. I chose the transfer network.
4. Fill in the address you want to send your crypto to. Take a few seconds to verify it's the correct address. Click **Continue **.
5. Enter the amount in crypto; the network fee will be specified there. Click **Continue **.
6. Your cryptos will be withdrawn from your account instantly and debited from the destination account.
